Today's Inspiration: 1940s Times Square Typography

Times Square c. 1943. Rarely, very rarely, do I go to Times Square. The overwhelming cacophony of sounds and people contained in those few blocks is just too much for me. But if Times Square still looked like this, with that fabulous old typography and neon signage, I might change my mind.
