Nonno's 80th Birthday

Last weekend, the Middleton/Balducci family celebrated my Nonno's (grandfather in Italian) 80th birthday. It was my pleasure to design the invites and print collateral for the party. Love you, Nonno—here's to many, many more!

 I Instagramed a photo of Nonno (originally taken in 1949 when he was 17 and looked like
an Abercrombie model!) and it became my inspiration for the party design.

The final designed invite: Using that 1949 photo with red and green colors to represent his Italian roots and playful typography to match his personality.

The final printed piece, (again, Instragramed!) mounted on crimson 80# cover stock

with gold photo corners and mailed inside a natural kraft paper envelope.

Framed invites and old photos of Nonno decorated the tables.
