Wonder-ful wish granted!

Four years ago today, I started working at Abrams as a children's book designer. In those four years, I've walked by Books of Wonder, my favorite independent children's bookstore, at least 3 times a week just to see the books on display in their great-big front window.

Now, I'm a bit of a dreamer, so for the last four years, every time I passed the Books of Wonder windows, I thought to myself, One day, one of my books will be on display in there! Well, one day came today, when I walked by and saw Poem in Your Pocket for Young Poets sitting pretty in that big window. Happy anniversary to me!
